Our excellent knowledge of network services

Our ICS engineers can design all levels of industrial communication networks using appropriate proprietarily and open industrial communication protocols. For example, on field level (layer-1)we use RS485, RS232,LoRa,ZigBee, different types of fieldbuses include HART, ControlNet, Device Net, CAN Bus, Profibus, and Foundation Field Bus etc. We optimize the design based on different factors such as response time, message size, distances, physical media etc. On control level (layer-2) we use LAN, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, Bac Net, Device Net, BSAP, DNP3, DH+, CIP, OPC UA etc. to have seamless communication between control devices. On information level (layer-3) our expertise goes to the IT network interfacing with SCADA and 3rdparty enterprise software where we use communication via Ethernet TCP/IP, OPC UA and implement managed switches, VLAN, WAN, VPN, GPRS/LTE modem, radio, cybersecurity etc. Also, we choose the appropriate media and protocol converters, gateways etc. for wireless, serial, Ethernet and fiber optic networks

Control system design for a backfill paste plant

Client Name: Coeur Mining
Location: Silvertip, British Columbia, Canada
Description: Producing control philosophy, IO drawings and shutdown key for the project in this silver-zinc-lead mine site. Designing the control system with proper transmitters and multiple 3rd party controllers. Primary PLC was Schneider Electric’s M580 and some other controllers were Allen Bradley SLC-500, Siemens SIWAREX WP241 and OMEGA CN7253.
